I wrote a review of Dan Simmons' newest novel Drood for Paradox .

It was a fun book: a novel about Dickens and his unfinished novel, from the perspective of Wilkie Collins. Good stuff.

Zombies!

Hey!

My short story "The Wolf That Never Stopped" won first place in the fourth annual Ligonier Valley Writers Flash Fiction Contest (2008).

Each year the organization sets a theme for a Halloween story contest, with a maximum length of 1000 words. This year, the theme was zombies, so I gave them a story about a zombie story of the Big Bad Wolf. They liked it.
